Not that many notable things happen in Rad's life and whenever they do, they seem to involve other Xeros...

Top Left: tail of the one and only Tessle (X-1012), who has met Rad only briefly when Rad sought him out to try and get extra limbs without the use of a Glitch Card. I've specifically picked Tessle's very unique tail, as at one point during their stay together Rad seems to almost become envious of it. In this way, Tessle's tail represents Rad's envy of traits that Rad itself does not possess.

Top Right: one of the most wonderful Xeros that Rad would certainly also feel envious of is definitely Torpor (X-1234), built like both a star and a moon, absolutely ethereal. I've drawn the two in a chance meeting and I've picked Torpor to be a rabbit amongst the stars that Rad can not reach, at least for now. The sky seems unreachable, untouchable. Rad's dream to be something else, something more, has proven to be unrealistic and far fetched during his stay with Tessle, and so now it is battling a feeling of resignation.

Bottom Left: (eyestrain cw) a mask that Rad has made during the Twilight Carnival. It has offered Rad a strange sort of comfort, as with it, it feels like a stranger, wilder creature. It represents Rad's dream and hope – it's a step closer to making this real, perhaps.

Bottom Right: Carnival Gift's collar, mimicking a carved lantern. Although I haven't yet written much about Gift's role in Rad's story, they appear in Rad's dreams, knowing too much and humoring Rad's strange cravings. I've chosen specifically their collar as it is a small point of confusion for Rad – do they belong to somewhere? Is it just a fashion statement? Does the constellation on Gift's tag even exist? The collar represents a promise made for a future full of new discoveries, and perhaps also for getting Rad closer to its goal.

Middle Left, Middle Right – the paw prints and eyes go hand in hand. They represent the wide variety of Xeros there are, the near infinite palette of options for what one may look like. Rad has seen so many who look cooler than it, prettier than it, stranger than it. It wants that, so badly.

Center: Rad's teeth surrounding a Glitch Card. By this point, the meaning may be obvious – it's the craving. The plague creeping in. A yearning so desperate that it would not suffice to hold the card in a paw, no, it has to be between your teeth, you wish to devour, not to hold. The Glitch Card in Rad's teeth represents how, if given any option to become the way Rad wants to be, it will take it, on instinct that goes deeper than simply rational thought.

Anyways yayyy hope you like itttt :) I love when I get to break out paper crafts for these prompts and this one was a challenge!

Also note, I am choosing not to tag Tessle, Torpor or Gift in these as I don't think any of them are portrayed in like, a way fully focusing on them? I wasn't sure if I should or not. As a compromise I have linked to all of them in this description though :)
