Roxi’s memory flag
Going from top right to left, the first square represents Roxi getting to meet Julian, using his most prominent markings to make his square. The pair were put together in order to research the Koronok slowly falling ill in the forest.
The next square represents Roxi finding a Woodland Ghost, as she likes to collect rare flora for her greenhouse and her team. As a food scientist with her own research crew, Roxi is always looking for ways to innovate food and packaging, using the natural world as inspiration.
The next square represents the Nevriset B’xhadari celebration, with the little lightning bolts representing Tessle, and his full set of beaded accessories he wore while he danced.
The two piebald hearts on either side of the center are simply a representation of Roxi herself, like a signature on a work of art.
The center panel is of an elusive leucistic Koronok, commemorating the fact that Roxi got to meet all her new friends thanks to the combined efforts of ARC to save the little forest creatures from a mysterious plague.
The lower right represents Nexus, showing off the patterns on his patagia. Roxi met him just after the koronok had all been returned to the wild after being cured. Nexus had been living on the very outskirts of the city, which is why Roxi never met him until recently. Roxi had been exploring the forest, when she finally caught sight of Nexus in the trees, just doing his job (being a forest cryptid).
The star one in the lower center shows when Roxi saw Tessle trade away his collection of V-Pets in order to obtain the coveted gold-shelled pet. It was clearly hard for him, but having worked so long to get the last pet, he deemed it a fair trade, and he now loves the little guy.
The last square is for Tessle himself, showing the jagged, lightning bolt patterns on his back and stomach. He was initially the report manager during the koronok's disease outbreak for Roxi and Julian, the three only knowing each other through emails until after ARC's breakthrough treatment for the koronoks. The celebration finally brought the three together in person.
