Ziggy and the Bearded Cap!

Now this is a tail of a lovely Xero named Ziggy, one day Ziggy was bored and went out to forage! During his travels he got hungry and looked for some food.. he could not find his favourite ru berries so he spotted a very tasty looking Bearded Cap. "Whats this?" he wonders to himself. He sits down and looks at it more, admiring how it looks. "What will this give me?" he wonders. "It looks like a skirt! Will it make my fluff into a skirt?" he looks around seeing if he can find any more, he does! He finds another and decides to take the plunge and eat them, for mushrooms they did not taste the worst.. thinks next time he will mix them with another food. 

He started to feel tired so decided to set up camp and fall asleep. He wakes up a few hours later to find something is different.. he notices his tail has changed! "wow" he exclaims! "that mushroom made my tail turn fluffy!!" he grabs his tail and hugs it "very soft" he says. He takes out a book to write his research in, writing and sketching about the mushroom and the effects it had on his body. What he did not realise was he found himself hugging his tail a lot while writing. He was wondering what to call it so he was thinking for a while, looking at the uneaten mushroom he had to sketch. "it looks a little like a beard.." he thinks and then a lightbulb moment! "ill call it a Bearded Cap mushroom!!".

Eventually he decides to pick a lot of these mushrooms and brought them back home, he reported his findings and everyone admired the mushrooms and his fluffy tail. 

A lot of Xeros ate these mushrooms and would all admire each other's tails. They would cuddle them to sleep for comfort and turns out their tails were very useful for warming themselves up! They wonder what other mushrooms could make them more fluffy if there is any.
