Luca's Journey

        Within the Arc lab is  a calm but busy enviornment. With bustling lab technicians and assistants tending to their very important work. However within the In hatchery of Arc labs, lies an xero orb with slight movement, orb x-318.... A nearby lab assistant notices! And quickly calls over other co-workers to watch the birth of this xero. From the delicate movements being made, the orb opens. With bated breaths; the busy life around the lab seemingly has paused for this moment.  The orb opens revealing a small xero with blue fur and hazel eyes looking around to observe the gathered group around this young creature.  An older male lab technician steps up; calm and gently picking up this xero. "Welcome young one" said the technician. The newly born xero looked up to the technician in a curious manner. The group gathered is in awe of this baby xero but shortly disbursts to go back to their busy lab life, leaving the technician and the newly born alone. The baby xero would paw at the technicians face while observing them. The technician chuckles softly, "I think your name will be Luca." said the technician. 

       And from that day Luca was taken in by the technician as one of his own. Luca had always been curious about the life around them, wanting to get a hold of anything luca had any slight interest to them. With the demanding and busy life a technicians work requires; Luca and their father who had adopted them didn't get to spend as much time together compared to other families. But nonetheless the bond between the two was very strong and loving. Most days Luca would go out and explore the area around them, getting to observe the wildlife and community to where Luca was raised. 

       One day in Lucas youth, their father had brought them into Arc lab, as busy as it has always been. "So why am i here today dad?" said luca. "To experiment on you of course!" he said teasingly, Luca rolled their eyes and chuckles elbowing him in his side; He smiles continueing to lead Luca around the busy hallways of Arc lab. Luca observes their surroundings while following their father up to a counter. While their father was distracted talking to someone at the counter; Luca spots another younger xero with cyan fur with a slight green glow across the busy room. Luca is so curious to see another younger xero around their age here in Arc labs! Luca's curiousity gets the better of them and goes to approach this xero, However quickly loses sight of them. Luca looks around the room and gets short glances of the xero in the crowded area. Luca pursues this mystery xero navigating through the crowd to slowly catch up with them. Shortly after Lucas daring departure from the counter, Luca's father notices Luca is no longer there! Luca's father quickly looks around for Luca calling out for them, But the busy enviorment easily hides Lucas presence lost within the crowd. 

    Luca maneuver's through the crowd and finally catches up to their fellow young xero, Luca grabs onto their shoulder catching this xero off guard. "AHH" yelled the cyan xero. Luca removes their hand from this poor xero's shoulder, the cyan xero whips around to look at Luca. "I'm so sorry, i just was trying to catch up to you to say hi!" said Luca. They sigh and extend their paw out to Luca to shake hands. "My name is Ziggy" said ziggy, Luca smiles taking their paw shaking hands. "My name is Luca! I didn't expect to see someone around my age here in the Labs!". As they were exchaning their names Luca's father bursts in the middle of their conversation tired and out of breath from running around looking for Luca. "YOU SCARED ME SO BADLY!!". He kneels down hugging Luca, "Don't run off like that again, i thought i lost you" said his father. Luca awkardly smiles and apologies to their father. Luca's Father stands back up and looks surpised to see Ziggy. "Ahh i see you two have already met, This is why i brought you here today. I wanted you to meet Ziggy" said Lucas father. They all smile and continue down the hallway to continue their meeting, Ziggy and Luca talking and laughing at this odd introduction. 

   Luca and Ziggy go on to grow up as close friends often exploring Owai-6, with Luca often trying new fruits to see their outcome while Ziggy documents the results.  Continuing the research and studying of xero's :)
